How A & D Landscaping Got Started
A & D Landscaping has been building and maintaining landscapes across Cache Valley since 1994. What started as a local landscaping operation has grown into a full design-build company with seven specialized in-house divisions serving residential and commercial clients throughout northern Utah and southern Idaho. For over 30 years, we've stayed local, stayed independent, and built our reputation one project at a time — from Logan backyards to USU's Innovation Campus, Romney Stadium, and the Logan City Aquatic Center. We don't subcontract. Every crew member who shows up at your property works for us.
Meet the Owners
Jared
Co-Owner & Operations Manager
Jared has been involved in the horticulture industry for over 25 years and has been running A & D Landscaping since 2001. He holds an Associate's Degree in Horticulture from BYU-Idaho, a Bachelor's in Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Construction from Utah State University, and a Master's in Landscape Business Management from the American Nursery and Landscape Association. Jared is ICPI certified in interlocking concrete pavement installation and NCMA certified in retaining wall construction. He oversees all sales, estimating, and daily operations.

Co-Owner
Craig has been involved in the horticulture industry for nearly 40 years, with experience spanning both retail garden center operations and landscape construction. His decades of hands-on knowledge are a foundational part of what makes A & D Landscaping one of Cache Valley's most experienced landscape companies.
Our Team
Steve Ford
In-House Landscape Designer
Steve joined A & D Landscaping after completing his Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Business Management from Utah State University. He excels at creating personalized designs tailored to each client's interests, style, and budget. Steve has worked on design projects throughout Utah and southeast Idaho.
Ramon Torres
Crew Foreman, Landscape & Sprinkler Installation
Ramon has been with A & D Landscaping for over 20 years and has served as Crew Foreman for the last 15. He specializes in large commercial and residential projects and is known for keeping jobs moving, on budget, and completed with a sharp eye for detail.
Matthew Hickey
Heavy Equipment Operator
Matthew is a trade school-trained Diesel Technician with prior experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He operates excavators, bulldozers, road graders, skid steers, backhoes, and more. He has been part of the A & D team since 2021.
Sarah
Office Manager
Sarah holds a degree from Utah State University and brings years of office management experience from title companies and construction firms. She has been keeping A & D's operations running smoothly since 2017 and is proud to call Cache Valley home.
